EXPLORE PENANG JUNE 2017

Hi! It’s me again writing to you about my short holiday by exploring Penang from 26the June to 30th June. I went there by AirAsia with my family and friends, Jennie and Limia (college’s friends).

Btw this is the very first post in 2017 ^^
Sorry for seldom update my blog ^^


DAY 1 (26 June 2017)
We went there at 26th June, flight 11.45 a.m. We arrived Kuala Namu Airport around 9 a.m. and waited for around 2 hours. Of course took a lot selifes :D

Arrived Penang International Airport around 12.30 p.m. (Penang’s time is 1 hour faster than Medan’s time). Bagages checked, imigration stamped, and went to New World Park near Georgetown to have lunch. Here were our lunches.


After lunch, we continued our trip to Batu Ferringhi, where we stayed at Holiday Inn Resorts. Arrived hotel around 4 p.m. because of holiday’s trafiic. The road was so crowded. After checking in hotel, we took a break by resting in room, reenergized ourselves before playing at beach.

The sun was so bright when we touched the beach. Although the sky was getting dark, but still the sun burnt our skin so badly, so damn hot that time. The wind and the wave were so big, that we weren’t allowed to play parasailing. After playing a while near the beach, the rain came down. So we sat at hotel’s lobby, waiting for the rain to stop pouring down. Luckily, the rain just poured a while. After the rain went away, we continued to play at beach. We tried to play Banana Boat for Rm25/ person. Wow! So nice to ride Banana Boat! The wind, the wave hit our body. No photos when we played Banana Boat because we didn’t have our phones with us. We left it at hotel..

After playing Banana Boat that made me wet whole body, I decided to took a bath and came down again to watch the sunset. A quick bath and came back to beach. Of couse you can’t miss the sunset when at the beach! Here the sunset view! Not so beautiful, but still amazed with it.

After my friends took bath, we went for a walk to find dinner, strolling around the night market. Back hotel around 10 p.m. Good night, beach!

DAY 1 was over! Can’t wait for the second day~

DAY 2 - 27 June 2017

Woke up at 5.30, exercised a bit, and went down to beach to see the sunrise view.

After capturing a lot of sunrise photos, we went back to hotel to take bath and had our breakfast. Then, check out hotel, and got ready to explore ESCAPE Adventureland and ENTOPIA Penang Butterfly Farm. We used bus 101 to reach Escape. Escape is a place where we can play with height. There were so many visitors. People queqed for the tickets. The entrace fee was RM 83/ person (foreigners). After getting our tickets, it’s time to play. Our first stop was Monkey Business, which is divided into 3 levels. We tried the first level and already got so nervous. Hahahaha. We couldn’t bring our handphones, so there weren’t many photos. After the first stop, we walked around the park, watched people played other games. And stopped at Atan’s Leap, place where we can jump over from 12 meter or 20 meter. Limia and I tried the 12 meter jump. Wohooooo ~ Excited, yet get scared ^^

After that game, we had lunch at Escape’s Cafetaria. Took a break and decided to leave Escape and headed to Entopia at 2 p.m. Another crowded place. We entered Entopia by paying Rm65/person. So excited with this farm. So many butteflies fly around us. Captured a lot of photos here. Enjoy!









We leaved Entopia around 4.30 p.m. Took 101 bus again to back to hotel, took our bags and left Batu feringghi. We ordered Grab to take us to 118 Hotel Macalister. It costed RM 17. Arrived hotel around 6.30 p.m.
Exhausted! Took a little break and then bath and went out hotel again. We went to Penang Times Square to have dinner and strolling around the mall. A big mall, but not so crowded.

Back hotel at 10 p.m. sleep so tight because got so tired already.

BYE BYE BEACH, SEE YOU AGAIN ^^
Let me tell you that I can’t move on from Batu Feringghi! Please take me back!


DAY 3 (28 June 2017) - Exploring Penang The Heritage

Woke up at around 6.30 because of so tired. Took turn for bathing and then went out to have breakfast. We had dimsum that morning.

After breakfast, we took Grab to Armenian Street. Let’s go explore Penang Street Art!!!

It took half day to explore the Street Art, although we didn’t see all the murals. We continued our trip to Chew Jetty and had lunch there.

After lunch, we headed to Fort Cornwallis and Esplanade.
After exploring there a while, the rain came down. We quickly booked Grab and headed to Kimberley Street to visit Upside Down Museum and Dark Mansion (Glow in the Dark Museum).

Upside Down Museum was not really interesting for me. But I got amazed at Dark Mansion. It was amazing! You should visit it if you go to Penang!

After the Museum trip, I went back to my sister’s hotel and took rest, while my friends went to Gurney Plaza to shop. Actually my sister and I decided to visit Avatar Secret Garden, but unfortunately it was closed for public because there was shooting. So, we went to Gurney to have dinner and shop at Cold Storage. That day, I had Ilao Ilao for dessert. I missed Godiva ice cream :(

In the end of this part, I will share some of Panoramas I took during my holiday. Hope you enjoy Penang as I enjoyed it. I LOVE PENANG!

PATRIA BASIC TRAINING 2016 - PART 1

"Tgl 10-12 September 2016 kita PBT ya. Ayok daftar, tempat terbatas lo!" Begitu isi ajakan salah seorang pengurus PATRIA di grup. Wahh, PBT, Patria Basic Training, pasti keren ini, begitu pikiranku saat itu. Niat untuk ikut sudah 100%, namun tiba tiba terpikirkan akan ada beberapa pertimbangan sebelum bisa mendaftar, maka saya belum mendaftarkan diri kala itu. Walau begitu, nama saya sudah ada di list nama yang akan ikut. Well, saya biarin saja, ya, semoga benar saya bisa ikut :) Setelah melewati beberapa tantangan, 2 minggu sebelum acara, sudah dipastikan saya akan ikut! Yeahhh! Day 2 - 11 September 2016 Dimulai dengan bangun pagi pukul 05.00 (I see the sunrise lho, too beautiful to not take the pic ), antri mandi, sarapan, dan lanjut ke sesi 2. with Afie, Detan, and Wilson Topiknya adalah "Faktor Kepemimpinan Fundamental" dibawakan oleh ko Lauren dan ci Erlin.
